About the Role
We’re hiring an Operations and Quality Lead to help run and scale our operational backbone. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, holds a high bar for precision, and knows how to manage remote teams with rigor and discipline.
You’ll be responsible for making sure the trains run on time—every day—while constantly improving the tracks beneath them.
Role Overview
The Data Scientist will develop and improve the AI models that power Lamar’s automation across healthcare workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Build and train models for document parsing, classification, and workflow automation
- Analyze large healthcare datasets to uncover insights and improve performance
- Work closely with engineering to deploy models into production
- Continuously evaluate and improve model accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to experimentation and benchmarking efforts
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in machine learning, NLP, or applied AI
- Experience working with unstructured data (documents, PDFs, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
